The Seattle area is experiencing a huge influx of buyers from Japan and China buying property, often times without even seeing it beforehand. The article points out that historically, buying property in the United States was only for the uber-elite of other countries. But our current down swing in the market has opened up ample opportunities for investors from all over the world to capitalize on real estate that is significantly cheaper than in their own cities.
